Return shipping label not sent, only address
Good evening,
I received an item that, contrary to the description, turned out to be defective and not working. I requested a return with refund from the seller, and they accepted. Since in this case it is the seller’s responsibility to purchase the return shipping, I expected to receive a shipping label, but for the moment I have only received an email saying "Return ready to be shipped", but it only contains their address.
I wrote to them privately to ask for the label or to receive an advance refund of the shipping costs, but they are not replying to me.
How should I handle this?
I should add that if I try to ask eBay to step in, it always sends me back to the return page where there is only their address.
Thanks

·2 years agoFirst of all, you need to have opened a dispute for item not as described
and not a simple return procedure.
here you can find all the instructions:
https://www.ebay.it/help/buying/returns-refunds/restituisci-un-oggetto-cambio-di-un-rimborso?id=4041
once the dispute has been opened you need to follow the instructions and timelines.
If the seller has replied to your request saying that they approve the return, before asking eBay to step in you must wait all the available days to give the seller time to arrange things if possible.
If the seller during this time does not provide the return label when the time allowed for you to reach an agreement expires, you can ask eBay to intervene in the dispute.
If you have done everything according to the procedures, if the seller does not send you the label once the deadline for you to agree between yourselves has passed, you can have eBay step in.
Kind regards.
