I shipped it, but due to some issues the package was sent back. What do we do now?
I am a private non-professional seller and a buyer purchased a used item that I promptly shipped the next day with Poste Delivery Express. The address provided by the buyer was wrong by one letter, and Poste immediately took the opportunity not to deliver. Held at the depot, parcel released, I’m hoping for a second delivery....but I end up with the parcel back at my place again. What do I refund the buyer now? Price including shipping or excluding it? Why should I have to lose €10?

·3 years agoIf the address error was your mistake but eBay had given you the correct address, as a matter of fairness you should make a new shipment at your own expense... after all, the mistake was yours...
If instead the error came from the buyer, then he should pay you for a new shipment... so you "could" not refund it to him, obviously if he doesn't open any kind of claim, otherwise you'll have to refund everything, shipping included.
Kind regards.
