I have a pending order to send; the buyer isn't responding. If I refund everything?
Summary: xitsshad expresses concern about a pending order that has not yet been shipped because the buyer is not responding. heavenwelkin appears to be involved in the discussion, but adds no further comments or solutions. The main question is whether to proceed with a full refund.
Hi everyone,
The other day I noticed that a buyer purchased an item in December but was never notified. I also checked my emails but there was nothing. At that point I contacted the buyer before sending it to see whether they wanted it sent or wanted a refund. They haven’t replied for days, so at this point instead of sending it quote unquote blindly I’d use the option to send a refund. If I do that, the transaction gets canceled and then I’m good, or how should I do it? Thanks

Ebay asks sellers to respect shipping timeframes.
Personally I would send an apology message to the buyer and cancel the sale.
Shipping and delivery times have certainly been far exceeded.
If you shipped today and received an item not received dispute, you could run into post-sale problems that I won’t list here.
Cancel it and see if the buyer wants to purchase the item again by making a new payment.
Best regards.
