I have a question about purchases in Eastern European countries.
Good evening, I would like to know if any of you have purchased a valuable watch (Rolex) from sellers residing in countries in Eastern Europe, formerly Russia, and how you found it in terms of shipping, tracking, delivery, and how much the customs fees and other additional costs were. Thanks

Given that eBay Money Back Guarantee covers most transactions on eBay, these must always be checked before purchase.
You didn’t specify whether this purchase is happening on eBay or not.
If you’re buying on eBay from Russia, at the moment the problem could probably be of another nature (see the sanctions issue)
Here you can read an eBay announcement

As for other Eastern European countries, you didn’t specify which countries these are; in any case, purchase protection must still be checked before making the purchase.
Kind regards.

OP2 years agoGood evening, thanks for the reply. Yes, it’s true, the question was generic. I was referring to a purchase of a Rolex watch made at auction from Kazakhstan, and more specifically from the city of Astana. A watch that was supposed to arrive by October 20th and has since gone missing. I opened a case on eBay for item not received. I’m covered by the eBay customer guarantee, otherwise I wouldn’t have bought it. I just wanted to know if you have any experience with this. Thanks again. Regards.
Fernando
