The shipping costs were modified by third parties
Hello,
I posted an ad to sell a vinyl record a few weeks ago.
The shipping costs I entered were those of a standard parcel with Poste Italiane.
As of today, if I view the listing, the reported costs do not match (an exorbitant amount).
In any case, the sale would have gone through (with the regular shipping costs).
Is it possible that someone on eBay can modify my costs without my consent?
Best regards

·3 years agoDo you have a selling account that other people can access?
Ebay doesn’t modify active auctions; at most it closes them if they violate the rules.
It’s hard to imagine a fraudulent / unauthorized access with the aim of changing the shipping fees.
In conclusion, in my opinion this is just a simple oversight, so you can спокойно edit the auction and change / correct the item related to the shipping costs.
Best regards.

·3 years agoNo one at eBay changes the costs, imagine if with billions of transactions in the world a human being (even a crazy one) could sit there and do something like that; add to that the fact that the number of eBay support agents is significantly understaffed compared to real needs, so they don't even have time to (figuratively speaking) shoot themselves. You must have made some mistake, or check that you don't have some option or the shipping manager active. In any case, as the seller, you choose the shipping options and you can send the invoice with the updated costs to the buyer (in the remote case that they want faster and more expensive shipping, or that you need to combine several purchases into 1 single shipment).

·3 years agoI really don't think so... rather, I think you may have made a bit of a mess with the shipping tables, try checking them in the sales rules manager:
