Unable to unlink a PayPal account from one's eBay account
As per the subject. In the Settings profile I don't have the option to change the payment options by adding my Paypal account, since discount coupons only work with Paypal. What should I do 😫?

·2 years agoIf you’re just a buyer, you don’t need to change or enter anything in the settings.
Just add the item to your cart and on the screen before payment (the one where you have to confirm the shipping address and choose whether to pay with paypal, credit card or something else) you need to enter the discount coupon and check that it is accepted.
When you see that the coupon is deducted from the total amount to pay, you can proceed with the payment.
If, on the other hand, you are also a seller, it is not possible to add paypal as a method for collecting payments.
You can only add bank transfer to receive the money.

OP2 years agoUnfortunately, I’m also a seller. So why is Ebay offering me coupons if I can’t use them?

·2 years agoOf course you can use the coupon.
First of all, you need to read the coupon rules because it’s not necessarily a discount valid for every product.
Then you need to read whether there’s a minimum amount to spend or anything else.
As a seller, you can also make purchases on ebay using the same account, and the coupon isn’t tied to the payment method.
You can pay with paypal, credit card, google pay, apple pay.....
