Flat-rate VAT scheme
Good evening
I am in the flat-rate tax regime and I have a professional shop regularly registered with a VAT number.
eBay keeps charging me VAT on the fees and for the shop can I continue like this would I be all set?
Or should I get the VAT exemption and proceed with paying the VAT with F24?
Thanks a lot

·1 year agoin my opinion, since it’s a B2B transaction, VAT has to be paid in Italy, there is a difference between purchasing goods and purchasing services; if you buy intra-EU goods below 10,000, VAT is paid by the supplier in the country of origin unless the buyer opts to pay it in Italy before reaching that amount; if instead you buy services, there is no 10,000 threshold, so you need to register for VIES and reverse-charge the invoice, indicating the rate and tax to be paid by the 16th of the following month (circular 10/E of April 4, 2016, par. 4.1.2).

it depends on you... if you already pay it, you're all set... if you register for VAT exemption, you'll then have to fill out the Intrastat form every time, with the resulting accountant costs...
Kind regards.

OP1 year agoOk thanks a lot, so seeing the VAT charged in eBay invoices and likewise in the invoices issued by the shipping provider, also on eBay.. am I relieved from issuing a self-invoice to pay the VAT? But how does it work, to understand better, does eBay pay the VAT in Italy?
Thanks a lot
Sorry for all the questions
