Accepted methods for issuing a refund
Good morning, I need to issue a refund through eBay for a returned item, but I can't proceed because I don't have sufficient funds and the linked bank account for receiving payments is not accepted. The card I’m trying to add as a method, a prepaid card, isn’t recognized by eBay. Is there any other way?

OP10 months agoI also enabled the sales cost account, but it still asks for an alternative payment method.

·10 months agoIf you have the account and it was correctly enabled, ebay takes the funds from there.
If you don't have enough funds in the account, ebay asks for an alternative payment method.
Does the card you entered match the account holder on the ebay account?
If you don't have another card to try, the only thing to do is contact support.

There are NO other methods accepted by eBay to refund the buyer.
If you have problems with the account or card you must contact support.
Go here:

Scroll to the bottom of the page where there is the "ask us to call you" button that becomes active during office hours.
