Hello,
I listed an item for sale and after a day I sold it, but shortly after the buyer canceled the purchase. Then he told me he wanted to complete the purchase and asked me to cancel his cancellation request. But I’m stuck and can’t figure out how to move forward. After several attempts, I don’t know how I did it but I listed the same item for sale again, but I kept finding this message on my page: "The buyer wants to cancel this order". If I click on "Reply" it opens a page where I have to enter my credit card.
FINALLY: I would like to delete the item for sale forever, but I don’t see the option. How do you do it? Maybe it’s there and I just don’t see it? THANKS!

·10 months agoFrom what I can see, they paid you.
You won't see it directly on PayPal (since the payment was made to ebay).
You're a less active seller, so the funds are on hold.
They requested the refund but are missing 50 cents to be able to do it, and that's the amount they're asking you for.
Talk to ebay customer service and they'll confirm this for you.

OP10 months agoThank you, many thanks for your message. But I think I didn’t explain myself well.
The buyer told me that he paid with PayPal, but when I went on PayPal I didn’t see any transaction; not only that, I also went to the bank’s website to check the transactions on my checking account and credit card. I received NOTHING at all. So what am I supposed to pay the buyer? I don’t think I owe anything.
At this point I don’t know how to behave. I still have that message on the product I put back up for sale: “The buyer wants to cancel this order”. What do you advise me to do? Yesterday he told me that he couldn’t cancel it and that I had to take action to approve the cancellation, but if I go to cancel it, then I can’t do it. Thanks again.

·10 months agoYou’ve made a bit of a mess of it (a lot).
Once the purchase has been completed, the buyer can’t cancel it in any way. He can only ask you to cancel the order, and you can accept or reject his request.
Since the item has gone back on sale, you accepted his cancellation request and, if he paid, you need to refund him. Since you’re not a frequent seller, your funds aren’t available, so you have to front the refund with a credit card.
