Italian Post package dimensions
Good morning, sorry for the basic question but it's the first time I've used the ebay shipping manager.
I sold an item and bought the Poste Italiane label, I entered the dimensions 45x25x25.
Then I had to change the packaging and it's 45x30x30 (still within the 150cm limit ).
Do you think it's still fine, is the important thing not to exceed the total cm or does it have to match the data I entered?
p.s. on the waybill the weight is indicated, but the dimensions are blank.
Thanks to anyone who replies.

·3 years agoHi! I can confirm that the Poste Italiane service you purchased through Packlink is based on "actual weight," so up to 3 kg the dimensions don't matter (unless they exceed 150 cm when you add up the sides). It works differently for DHL or UPS, where you always need to pay attention to the measurements.

·3 years agoGood morning
Go here: https://spedizioni.ebay.it
Do a SIMULATION with the same service, same address, entering the new measurements and see whether the shipping price increases or stays the same.
If the shipping price stays the same, then you won't pay the difference.
If the shipping price increases, then packlink will ask you in about a month for an additional payment to make up the difference.
Kind regards.

·3 years agoIt depends on the service you purchased. On Postedeliveryweb if the weight limit was under 5 kg there was also: Rates valid for shipping parcels with maximum dimensions of 50 x 32 x 28.
So it wouldn't be suitable.

OP3 years agoNo, it's not standard Poste Italiane. Max weight 30kg and total dimensions 150cm. Just so you know (my bad for not doing it" if I had put 50x50x50 the price wouldn't have changed
