·3 years agoE-bay, in short, is a platform used by sellers and buyers (something repeated over and over on the forum), so in fact it is a means of facilitating supply and demand: it is not up to E-bay to judge whether or not a seller is honest; it does, however, have rules (very detailed, in some cases perhaps too detailed) that can, among other things, restrict/block sellers/buyers considered "unfair";
also, sellers could make the same reasoning as you do about buyers (who, as is well known, are more protected on E-bay), so, question: how would it, in your opinion, be able to check them all? and on what basis (because you said so?) ; moreover, and this is even more important - and obvious - I remind you that E-bay cannot replace the law

·3 years agoProbably it "doesn't seem to you" because you haven't read the contract you entered into with ebay, where the exclusion of liability is also mentioned.
In practical terms, though, what you're suggesting isn't feasible. It would be enough for seller and buyer to agree to stage fake sales to the detriment of ebay.

Next to the item you bought, on the right you’ll find "more actions" ---> contact the seller.
Ask them why they didn’t provide you with a tracking code, and if they shipped with a NON-TRACKABLE service, start the procedure for item not received.
