I can't see the payment confirmation notice
Summary: adrianina reports not seeing the payment confirmation notice. marioelegio, heavenwelkin, and cizeta1964 take part in the discussion, but without providing specific details in their replies or any apparent solutions.
Hi, unfortunately I don’t have any experience and I’d like to understand properly. I hope someone can clarify this for me soon.
I have a Mastercard debit card on eBay. I sold an item 5-6 hours ago and the buyer already paid me right away, but I don’t see anything on the debit card. My bank usually sends me a message immediately as soon as I buy or pay for something. I think at the very least a notification, as usual, the bank should have sent one.
I’d like to ask how I should handle this. Is that payment safe? Should I only ship once I receive the bank notification of the completed payment?
Thanks for clearing this up for me.

OP10 months agoTo be honest, I had read it, but how am I supposed to understand if eBay wrote me this: "The release of your funds is currently scheduled for OC3819". I don't know if you get it, I don't understand anything.

OP10 months agoHi, I know the buyer received the package on November 28. Is it possible that eBay won't send me any message about when I'll receive the payment? I'm a little worried, I'm not experienced and even after reading eBay's rules, unfortunately they didn't make things much clearer for me.
I don't want a precise answer, I'd just like to know whether all this is normal. Thanks

You absolutely did not read the ebay guide page I attached to you.
If you had had the patience to read it, you would know that by pressing the blue button (see blocked payments) the list of pending payments will appear with the date on which the payment will be credited to you.
Reopen the page using the link I sent you and press that button.
bye

·10 months agoIf you wait for the bank notice, the buyer will definitely open a dispute and you’ll be forced to refund them with your credit card.
Why not instead read how eBay works?
The buyer’s payment isn’t direct, it’s processed through eBay.
You’re an infrequent seller and there have definitely been restrictions applied to you. the payment was held by eBay and will be transferred to your account in 15 days. They want to see how you behave, whether you ship within the time you stated in the listing, whether the item matches the listing ....
So if you have received the payment notice from eBay, if in your sales summary the item shows as sold and paid, ship within the correct timeframe and then wait until the date you find on the page attached below.
