Mobile number on the label

On the shipping label for the ebay service, your mobile number is also shown, but if someone isn’t okay with that, is it possible to avoid it?

·1 year agoGranted that I personally think it’s very useful (in case of problems I’ve been called by the courier), your mobile number comes from your shipping address on your eBay account.

OP1 year agoYes, I understand. I was just wondering whether it was possible to leave it off the label.
The fact that the courier needs to read your number printed in plain text seems to me like a major technical limitation, since with the code above (meaningless to most people) they could automatically trace back to your data in case of problems; I didn’t mean that it shouldn’t be available to the courier.
Also, the seller and the buyer have your cell number. That seems unnecessary to me, since you can contact each other through the platform if more information is needed.
