New eBay shipping options and rates? InPost and more...

·6 days agoI’d actually have a question about the fees for professional sellers, which basically tend to increase or change with sales. I’m finding charges that I don’t know where they’re coming from, beyond the ones stated, but is it possible that there are others? (as for shipping costs, I solved it with the monthly subscription, 4.50 Bartolini)

·5 days agoHow did you manage to get such a low price? The Bartolini consultant sent me the price list with subscription and we're almost close to 6 euros, with a fuel price surcharge for deliveries to Sicily or Sardinia

·6 days agoYesterday, when I was buying the shipping label, I also noticed the same thing. I wondered whether I could vary the shipping cost, making it easier for buyers with a lower rate that encourages them to buy. Before I used Poste1, which with €3 plus the cost of the stamped envelope was much, but muchooooo more convenient. Since Posta1 no longer exists, my sales are practically nonexistent. You can't buy an item for 2 euros and pay 5.11 for shipping

·2 weeks agoInpost is not always available for all locations, in my experience with the shipping manager. BRT, compared to Packlink (which can always be used), costs about 40 cents less and I am using that service exclusively. However, the support in case of problems leaves a lot to be desired; I had a problem with generating the label and eBay, even though the customer entered all the complete details, omitted the address, indicating only ground floor in the appropriate section, resulting in the courier marking the data as incomplete. I contacted eBay to explain the system error in filling in the data that are acquired automatically, and it is a field where no option appears to modify it in case of errors as happens instead on Packlink .... Support that was unable to help me in any way other than contacting BRT or Packlink, too bad that that shipment on Packlink does not show up since it was purchased directly on eBay with charge to balance .... This is a big problem, at least Packlink in case of a problem is quite a bit more efficient

·6 days agoSame thing happened to a friend of mine: problem with a package shipped abroad that obviously got lost (stuck in Germany for 3 weeks) the support contacted several times via chat first suggested contacting Packlink (nonexistent shipment) and then directly Poste (which replied to contact the merchant, i.e. eBay). Then they casually suggested filing the insurance claim through Poste, but too bad that if you buy the label directly from eBay with balance, the insurance is ZERO.
For now we’ve gone back to Packlink, eBay shipments through balance are 10% cheaper but support is nonexistent!

·2 weeks agofrom September 1 there will be important changes (as also stated in the email sent by Ebay in recent days to seller users ......) : Ebay anyway has the "habit" of introducing new things and then, little by little, of "adapting" itself to the new changes proposed, doing it in "installments" over time .... so those who sell will have to expect, in my view, a certain period of "adjustment" to the new rules...........

·2 weeks agoFrom experience I can tell you that the prices offered by eBay Shipping or packlink eBay are unbeatable... I mean that if I ship with Bartolini I pay 4.90, if I ship with Poste Business Express I pay 5.65 with pickup at home.... For me, who am a professional seller, a direct subscription with Bartolini or SDA ends up costing quite a bit more per individual shipment.... Bartolini, for example, has a subscription rate list where I end up paying more than one euro more per parcel than with eBay, with delivery to Sicily and Sardinia an additional surcharge of 1.50€ must be added, Poste doesn't have zone surcharges but same story, the prices offered by eBay compared directly with the couriers are unbeatable.... As for the new laws of September 1 for private individuals on payment methods, balance, etc., I wouldn't know, you should read the regulations directly
