In fact the Bartolini courier picks up the parcel from my home and the shipping code provided to me was never activated; in fact, this code turns out not to existThe buyer opens a dispute and I contact Packlink, which gives me 7 days to provide them with a courier receipt that I never received and I don’t even know how many couriers issue one upon request. Or to provide them with written proof of a report through the competent authorities; without one of the two proofs the case will be closed in 7 days and up to this point I’d say that’s understandable, even if I wouldn’t be too happy about it. I mean, I think they could first start with targeted checks and searches instead of jumping straight to filing reports (at least in my case it’s an item worth 40-50 euros and I’m not immediately rushing to file a report). It seems more like an attempt to create a tangled process so as not to encourage people to make claims in the event of losses.Anyway, I inform the buyer that I’m in contact with Packlink and Bartolini to do more in-depth checks.I send 2-3 emails to Packlink, who always reply in the same way, they want the receipt and a report to the competent authorities, and after 7 days they stop replying.eBay then closed the case after a few days, refunding the buyer and a transaction defect was added to my account. If they had told me instead of pushing me to keep replying to the buyer I would have refunded directly, it amounts to the same thing. First they made me contact Packlink, who didn’t help me at all, and then on my own I tried to contact Bartolini 3 times but they never replied.At that point I contact Packlink again twice asking at least to be put in touch with Bartolini (since they don’t answer) so that searches can be started, but they never replied again.It seems truly absurd to me not to help a buyer at all; after all, if the courier hadn’t come for pickup I would already have canceled the booking and requested a refund. Instead I look at the tracking every day hoping it will update, but nothing.And it doesn’t seem that hard to do a search, because they’ll know whether they had a pickup request on that day. They’ll know whether the pickup agent came to collect the parcel from my home and they’ll know whether the pickup agent collected the parcel or not and why if they didn’t. They can’t pick up a parcel and forget all about it, because if they hadn’t picked it up they would have tried again with a new pickup, and if they hadn’t picked up the parcel I would have canceled the shipment long ago from eBay’s shipping manager.I swear I don’t know what to do, maybe I could try a refund through PayPal, I don’t remember the exact cost now, I think I spent about ten euros on Packlink but I would like to be refunded also for what I had to refund to the buyer. And anyway, it doesn’t seem reasonable to ask for a refund for a pickup that was carried out (meaning they picked it up and either lost or stole the parcel) but they don’t do any searches and don’t help you at all, and I don’t know whether with PayPal I can ask for a full refund and also for the damages I suffered
