Delivered but not received
Good evening, I have a problem: I bought a smartphone on eBay. The problem is it shows as delivered, but I never received it, and I opened a dispute on PayPal. They told me to file a report, so I did, uploaded it, but they closed the case in favor of the seller. What can I do?

·1 year agoI assume that before opening a dispute on PP you opened a dispute on eBay...
Because by opening it on PayPal you don’t open it with the seller but with eBay itself (you paid eBay, which then passes the money on to the seller).
At this point all that’s left for you is to open a chargeback through the bank that manages your credit card.

·1 year agoAfter that “brilliant move,” it’s hard to try to fix things.
In fact, by going straight to PayPal you also blocked any possibility of going through the eBay procedure.
Try contacting the seller and ask them kindly to send you a copy of their shipping receipt.
If the code or address doesn’t match, you can try to appeal on PayPal (I don’t know how it works, but there should be this option by submitting new documents).
If, on the other hand, the code and address do match, you can only take it up with the courier who certified that a package with that code was delivered to your address.
