I’ll start by saying that luckily the package arrived on the estimated day and that, also luckily, it was the buyer who was honest enough to let me know (I asked him to wait a few more days hoping it would be delivered, and he told me it had already arrived), however I can’t exactly rely on honest buyers every time, and this was only my fourth shipment during the year. I used eBay shipping (Packlink) with Bartolini courier, without insurance given the relatively small value (150 euros), and it arrived in Germany near the destination city but is still listed today as out for delivery.The nice thing is that the courier (DPD), contacted first on the German support page, doesn’t जवाब, then on social media I explained the situation and it redirected me to the support page that doesn’t respond, only to go silent after that. And this is just a missed status update; I don’t even want to imagine if it had actually been lost. How often does this happen to you? Is it worth spending that extra 10-15 euros every time for insurance on relatively small values (between shipping, eBay fees and insurance, it’s at least 30 euros eaten up every time)?
