PACKAGE NOT ARRIVED, BUT SHIPPING FROM EBAY HAS BEEN REPORTED
Hi everyone, I bought an item on October 20 and paid for it that same day with PayPal, since the user only accepted immediate payment with PayPal as payment; the estimated delivery date was from November 25 to 29, but nothing has arrived yet and the seller doesn’t even reply to the emails I send him for information, yet eBay shows me the little symbol of the shipped package in the summary, even though the seller hasn’t even sent me a message.
Do you think it was really shipped or is this a scam despite paying with PayPal? Would it be better for me to start a dispute?

·3 years agoEbay is pathetic in general, it doesn't compare with Amazon; I asked for help with a package that never arrived, at least to ask for information, nothing, they closed the report without caring about the customer. For me the account is closed and they can go bankrupt today, anyway it was already awful on its own compared to Amazon

·3 years agoGranted that it makes no sense to compare Amazon to Ebay because the latter doesn't sell anything directly and doesn't handle shipping, usually the dispute for item not received is closed by ebay after a certain amount of time of inactivity from the person who opened it, that is, the buyer.
It is still possible to seek redress through paypal or through a credit card chargeback.
