·2 years agoIf you shipped it on Friday, October 6 after 12:00, the package would have left on Monday, October 9.
Considering that Poste Italiane are not among the best when it comes to shipping times, I’d say that in terms of timing there’s still no need to think the worst.
What does the buyer say? Has he opened a claim for an item not received, or is he still waiting?
Contact the buyer and apologize for the delay; in the meantime ask him to be patient a little longer. If you see that he’s getting fed up, offer him a small discount on the shipping costs when he receives his order.
Keep in mind that for lost packages, Poste Italiane generally applies the following: Damage, tampering, theft or loss of the shipment = € 1.00 (one) per kg
of goods transported (or the greater amount in the case of activation of the Basic Coverage
service) plus an amount as compensation equal to the shipping cost net of VAT
and additional services.
Since you risk losing out either way, I’d advise you to wait another week or two (if you can) and try to buy some time by contacting the buyer.

·2 years agoYou’ll need to refund the buyer according to eBay’s procedures. In the meantime, you can open a claim where you purchased the shipping label.
