Package shipped with Royal Mail, import fees already paid
I bought an item from the United Kingdom and tonight at 5 in the morning I get an email from eBay saying it has been delivered. The tracking says this:

I don’t really understand how this thing works, maybe the seller, since they’re in the UK and I paid for GSP, has to ship to that address and then they send it to me in Italy? And where do I keep tracking it? The number I have starts with Y and ends with GB and on the Italian postal service site it obviously doesn’t work.

Basically, the English seller from whom you purchased, for a series of reasons, does not ship directly to Italy.
The shipment is handled by an intermediary.
The seller ships to an address (also in England) that then takes care of everything, from handling the shipment to the customs declaration.
From the tracking, it appears that the package has been shipped and has arrived at this intermediary, who will then send it to your address in Italy.
Using the tracking code you have (visible on eBay), you should be able to monitor the shipment until it arrives.
Kind regards.

·3 years agoThe GSP program was used, the seller shipped it to Pitney Bowes' collection center, from there the package will be sent on to its final destination with a new UPAA code……… You will be able to track it on that carrier's website or through search engines like 17track or Parcelsapp etc….
