Package shipped and arrived but arrived at the wrong address!
I sold an item and shipped it via the shipping manager to the buyer's address. The package arrived at the wrong address and is even marked as delivered! What can I do now? The mistake is Poste Italiane's, I certainly shouldn't have to pay for it!

Did you send it to the address eBay provided you?
If so, you have nothing to worry about... if not, you'll be the one who takes the hit...

OP3 years agoFrom the shipment tracking.
The address eBay provided me was correct (it was supposed to arrive around Bolzano). The post office delivered it to a town in the province of Milan!
How should I proceed now?

·3 years agoTo the dispute, respond with the tracking code and specify that you did not make any mistakes but it was delivered (by the courier) to the wrong address.
Ebay may still force you to issue a refund and then direct you to the post office for recourse.

·3 years agoAlso include the receipt showing that you entered the correct address... unfortunately, from the tracking alone it's not clear whether you shipped it to the correct address or not...
