Packlink incomplete label
Good morning, sorry if the question is a bit stupid but I’d like to clear up a doubt. I printed a label with Packlink but the address came out incomplete. If I added it by hand, would that be fine or does the barcode still count anyway, which probably doesn’t contain that info? To be specific, the street and house number are missing, but not the town, postal code and province.
Thanks in advance.

·1 year agoEnter the full address because otherwise there's a risk the parcel won't be delivered for "wrong/incomplete address".
You can also print the recipient's full address and attach it to the parcel near the waybill.
The available characters are limited, which is why the address is being cut off.
Kind regards

·1 year agoAs already discussed several times here, the characters available in the label matrix are sometimes limited and therefore get "cut off" during rendering.
The data provided to the carrier are the ones you entered in the form when you purchased the LdV.
So the carrier (and the sorting/delivery staff) theoretically see the full address.
If there is a QR code (e.g. Poste, UPS, etc.) you can check the data the carrier has in hand yourself (for UPS you need to use a proprietary QR decoder).
Manually adding the missing data is advisable, but it’s not guaranteed to be effective: the couriers read everything on the terminal and at most use the label as confirmation when they pick up the package.
