Part of the blocked funds
Good morning
I have a small problem with a sale I made on eBay some time ago (September 28).
Basically, I sold an item for €11 including shipping costs; once it arrived at its destination, the user opened a dispute because, according to him, the item was defective.
I pointed out to him that I had already specified in the description that it had that particular defect.
He apologized, said he hadn't noticed, and gave me positive feedback.
But in the meantime, the dispute case has remained open.
The user asked me whether he has to close it or I do.
I replied that he has to do it and I also explained how to do it (using the instructions from eBay's FAQ).
However, he still hasn't done it.
What is the problem?
Now I sold another item and the €11 were rightly withheld (as per the rules) from the total sale amount.
So I wanted to ask you, since I think this user will never close the case now, does it close automatically after some time?
If so, will the funds then be released and immediately available, or will I receive them in a later sale?

the dispute will be closed for inactivity after 21 days from the last interaction and the funds will be available immediately after the release, regardless of future sales.
