Why are they telling me that I won’t get a refund if the package hasn’t arrived??
I bought a coin, it never arrived, I reported this, the seller reports me, in the end bay says I won't get a refund, why should I be the one to lose out?

·3 years agoIf this keeps up, it’s likely that eBay will take care of it directly.......
I don’t know if you noticed that in a month he’s left 5 negative feedbacks for sellers who are definitely not newbies and are known to be reliable.
In my opinion he’s a real record-holder.

·3 years agoThe 2 euro coin was shipped to you from Italy by courier.
Out of 17 feedback left, 5 negative and 1 neutral.
Kind regards.

·3 years agoIf instead you're referring to one of your many sellers whom you gave negative feedback to, if the coin came from non-EU countries and it was clearly declared that they were coins and therefore valuables, almost all carriers prohibit importing them unless certified... with the resulting customs hold.
In this case you are responsible, and therefore the seller is not at fault.
If, for example, we Italians want to export coins, it is necessary to obtain the approval of the superintendency.
The export office of the Ministry of Cultural Heritage is responsible for issuing the "Free Circulation Certificate", provided that all the required conditions are met.
Kind regards.

·3 years agoI’m avoiding posting links, but if you want you can get to the corresponding auctions for the negative feedback.
I saw that he has just left another negative feedback (the sixth)
The seller apparently sent him a two-euro item sold for 64 euros and shipped it with posta4 (but I don’t believe a seller would be that careless; I hope he chose a tracked shipping method).
The other negative feedback, again for a two-euro item but shipped by courier (ioinvio), also claimed he never received the item.
Between items not received, scratched items, dirty items, items that didn’t meet the delivery times, we’re dealing with a particularly unlucky user ..........

·3 years agoNow that we've got the gist of it... the writer made a reporting mistake... if the seller was so careless as to ship with Posta 4, it was enough to report the non-arrival... and we all know that eBay would have refunded him.
When you don't know how to act... I agree... blacklist!
Kind regards.

·3 years agoWhat type of shipping was specified in the listing?
Since it’s a coin, if the shipment was sent by Posta 1, the mail carrier marked it as delivered (it’s only one status code, not tracking), so for eBay the item was delivered.
Then it may have happened that the mail carrier delivered it normally (they don’t ring your doorbell for delivery, it’s not a registered item) and later the envelope was stolen; obviously eBay can’t know that, so the proof of delivery status is what counts.
Then if the shipment was sent by Posta 4, it’s even worse, anything could have happened.
If instead it’s a trackable package and the tracking shows it was not delivered to your address, appeal eBay’s decision.

·3 years agoIf you bought a coin, I assume it was shipped to you via Posta 1 (formerly posta prioritaria)
This service does not require the postal worker to ring the doorbell and have you sign for the pickup.
With this service, the postal worker records the code and leaves the envelope in the mailbox and/or in the apartment building entrance hall.
If the delivery status says that the package was delivered, that's fine for eBay.
The seller did what they were supposed to do.
Since you had problems with Posta1, I advise you for next time to avoid using this service again.
As an alternative, you can choose registered mail or delivery by courier.
Kind regards.
