Pick up in person instead of shipping
Hello, I sold an item that I should ship, but I noticed that the buyer lives very close to me. Can I personally take the package to them instead of shipping it? If that is possible, will the buyer have the code to confirm that the item has been received?

·2 years agoI confirm what the other users said: if the listing is for shipping only and not local pickup, definitely avoid it;
but no one stops you from contacting the buyer and, if you both agree, canceling the listing and then, for example, creating a new listing (which of course the buyer will have to win again) with local pickup only: in this case the buyer will have the relevant QR code that they’ll need to give you at the time of in-person pickup

·2 years agoIf shipping is planned, the buyer will not have any code... because you would be the one who should provide the shipping code.
So, avoid it.
