Is it possible to know the total cost of this item from the UK?
Hello, I read that buying from the UK is no longer as convenient as it used to be, because of Brexit. I would like to buy this item, which is a component for hearing devices. It explicitly states both the cost (50.62eur) and tracked shipping (13.25eur), for a subtotal of 63.87eur.
Can it be determined, even approximately, how much I’ll have to pay in total to get it, that is, the unstated costs?

You need to calculate roughly 26-28% to add to the total you have already paid + something the postman or courier will ask you for the collection service of this amount, which is around 3 to 10 euros.
Kind regards.

OP2 years agoHi @heavenwelkin
I did some further research on this topic and I came across this thread that I had missed before. In the end, you yourself explain how the "global shipping program" works. What I was wondering is whether, regarding my specific listing, it can be guaranteed that this program will be applied, so that there will be no additional costs for so-called customs clearance or for delivery.
If such additional costs were to occur anyway, could I ask ebay for a refund bypassing the seller? That’s not clear to me either. If so, how?

From the link you provided, it appears that the shipping is carried out directly by the seller without intermediaries with the Royal Mail International Tracked service, so the Global Shipping program is not present in this case.
In case of purchase, you will have to pay the relevant import costs at the time of delivery.
Therefore, there will be no risk of double import charges.
The shipment with Royal Mail will most likely be handled by Poste Italiane.
Kind regards.
