Item 1 delivered, but the buyer says no
Good morning,
I sent a tiny cable of very little value, 10 euros, by Posta 1.
I had a feeling there might be problems because the buyer, right after the purchase, wrote to me saying the intercom didn’t work and asked if I could note that on the shipping slip, and include his phone number (on a Posta1?????).
I explained to him that it was enough for the mail carrier to have access to the mailbox.
Alternatively, he could have withdrawn from the purchase or paid me a few euros more for shipping by courier (I think the shipping provider offered that at 6.5 euros).
He رفضs everything and accepts the shipment.
I ship on Friday, delivered on Monday in his municipality.
Today he writes to me saying he received nothing.
How should I handle this?
I think he’s obviously trying to pull a fast one.

·2 years agoJust out of curiosity, how did it end up? Anyway, just to play devil's advocate, I'm sharing an experience from a few days ago. A shipment with Posta1 that I was waiting for showed as delivered even though I hadn't received anything. While trying to figure out what to do, I also came across this forum conversation, and I could clearly see that trying to raise the issue would simply have seemed like an attempt at fraud. After asking relatives and neighbors in vain and even looking in the dog's kennel, the next day I went to the postmen's depot and the parcel was there: they told me they had had a problem with the transport vehicle, evidently after they had already marked the parcels as delivered.

·2 years agoIf you try typing "sda express courier manica" in Facebook search, you'll find a discussion group where users report the various service issues.......
Recently a video was added showing a Poste/SDA operator from Merano throwing and kicking packages to be delivered....
As long as it's small, low-value items, you can still take the risk, but for delicate and valuable items, the only option in my opinion is UPS or DHL.
Kind regards.

OP4 years agoThe shipping receipt doesn’t show the recipient, it only has the tracking code.
In any case the item appears delivered and moreover delivered in the buyer’s village...
Besides, I’ve used Posta1 a ton, both to send small items and to receive them, and never had a problem, and when it was delivered, it was delivered. To me and to others.
Years ago, in one case, the package disappeared, but obviously the tracking never said delivered.
And I refunded it, obviously.
That’s why this case makes me so angry...

·3 years agoThe same thing is happening to me today too.
Package in Mailbox 1 marked as delivered, shipping method chosen by the buyer since among the various shipping methods made available at checkout there were also tracked shipping methods. Dispute opened by the buyer 9 days after the delivery date, no private message beforehand, no reply to private messages in the meantime, only replies through the dispute.
Something feels very off to me, in fact I hope eBay rules in my favor.

·3 years agoTry contacting support via chat or even better by phone; if you leave everything to the automated procedures (that is, to the algorithms), keep in mind that if the envelope isn’t marked as delivered, eBay will refund it anyway even if you don’t do it yourself. Also, if I’m not mistaken, you’ll pay another amount as a penalty for not resolving and closing the dispute yourself; I don’t remember the amount.
From experience with a posta1 shipment (luckily not for a sale) last year, it stayed in processing status for months and never switched to delivered status; I only know it was delivered because the recipient confirmed it to me. Filing complaints is pointless; they reply that for posta1 no support is provided, since it’s a fast priority service and not tracked like registered mail.

·3 years agoTry WAITING a few days.
Sometimes it happens that the codes get "fired off" when they arrive at the post office and not when the mail carrier actually delivers them.
If we're talking about a small village, this trick is sometimes used when there are no code-scanning devices available to all the delivery workers.
So I can recommend being patient for a few days before getting alarmed.
Kind regards.
