Italian Post and home pickup

Question

At the time of pickup of the package by the Post Office courier, he refused to give me a receipt, saying that it is not provided for. Obviously I didn't hand over the package because, in case of loss/theft, I would not have been able to prove that it had been delivered.

Can I force him to issue me a receipt?

I assume it's a "delivery web" shipment: in that case, the only thing you can get is the scan of the shipping code in front of you (and thus mark the package as "taken in charge").
No paper "receipt" is provided by the courier (unlike what happens when dropping off the package at a post office).
