Problem with shipping outcomes, for a few days now they haven’t been updating on eBay.
Hello, I'm addressing all sellers like me. For the past few days I've been having a problem on eBay, I think it depends on some system error on their end... If I check using the tracking codes on the shipping company's website they show as delivered and updated, but on eBay the status is not updated even for fully trackable shipments. As if they can't retrieve the shipping information; all this wasn't happening until a few days ago, the green delivery checkmark used to appear and everything. It's annoying, support says there are no system errors and I'm asking if any of you have noticed the same problem

·3 years agoIf you’re a professional seller who makes lots of monthly sales and if eBay isn’t working properly at the moment, it’s worth asking and/or checking whether your shipper has any available feature that lets you upload all daily tracking numbers and check them all together instead of uploading one code at a time.
When eBay didn’t have this integrated tracking system, how did professional sellers who made hundreds of sales a day check delivery confirmations?

·3 years agoLook, I have packages that were shipped and delivered, and even on the Poste website the tracking is stuck at just the scan, so the problem could be upstream.

OP3 years agoMine is different, on the courier’s website updated and delivered, and on eBay no, as if it can’t retrieve the information, so the problem should be on eBay. Honestly, I’ve never had this happen; it’s definitely a system error, hopefully temporary

I had this happen with BRT... if I entered the barcode, the system wouldn't update it... but if I entered the shipment number, everything worked fine...
Other than that, at the moment, I don't notice any problems.

OP3 years agoHi, thanks for the reply. I also enter each code manually, basically always have, never had any problems and the green checkmark has always appeared within a few hours of delivery. Unfortunately since yesterday I’ve noticed this problem, some Friday parcels have updated and others haven’t even though they’ve been delivered.. As for those sent on Monday, not a single one has updated yet; this morning all the shipments that are fully trackable still haven’t had a single update. As if eBay can’t retrieve the information, super annoying problem

·3 years agofor 10 days I’ve had two registered letters with no update, which anyway show as delivered on the postal service website. this had already happened to me some time ago.

OP3 years agoYes, it happened to me too sometimes, rarely. However, as of today, nothing at all — even the packages sent this morning haven’t been updated, they always stay on shipped and shipping code provided. Unfortunately, it’s not just two or three packages, but as a professional seller I handle many orders a day. In the end, the important thing is that on the carrier’s website it shows delivered, but it’s annoying... If eBay asks me to provide a code, I expect the system to update everything. I hope it’s just a temporary problem
