Problem with Packlink
Summary: The discussion revolves around a problem with Packlink. However, no specific details about the problem were provided in the visible messages.
Good morning everyone!
I was contacted by a customer who sent me a screenshot from Poste showing the parcel as apparently rejected; he says he absolutely did not refuse anything, on the contrary he contacted the carrier that had called him earlier.
Anyway, I write to Packlink to warn them about the problem and I find out that no, there will not be a second delivery attempt and that I will even be charged for the return shipment.
This seems completely nonsensical to me, especially considering that I am showing the customer's message where he states his intention to receive the parcel.
Long story short, I have an angry customer who quite rightly is not receiving the parcel and I, who besides having paid 5.41 for the outbound trip, 3 in fees and promotions, also have to pay another 5.41 for the return, do not know whether to charge him some cost; eBay says that I am not responsible but I fear his negative feedback.
I already have the form ready to report everything to agcom because, as a matter of principle, this behavior seems absurd to me.
I would like to understand if a return like this is normal after the courier makes a false statement.

·2 months agoVery disappointing experience with Packlink.
After purchasing insured shipping, the parcel arrived severely crushed and the contents were damaged. I provided photographs of the packaging before shipment, of the damaged parcel, of the protective materials used, and of the parcel returned by the recipient.
Initially the claim was rejected on the grounds that the item fell under restricted articles. Later, after I disputed that, the reason changed and the packaging was challenged.
Despite all the documentation provided, Packlink rejected the refund and assigned responsibility to the sender. After sending further evidence and requesting a review, I no longer received any response.
My impression is that, in the event of damage, getting an insured shipment recognized is much more difficult than one would expect.

OP2 years agoSmall update:
The package they refused to deliver out of pure caprice was lost during the return process, I ask for a refund and they deny it to me for "technology over 20 years old"
We’re talking about video games that even have 2012 in the title!
But how ridiculous are they, 20 euros of refund denied thanks to masterful twisting of the facts.
I was shocked by their stubbornness, never again, I won’t miss this awful service. Disgusting.

·2 years agoSAME problem with a CASSETTE TAPE -new ...refund denied because the technology is over 20 years old ...
courier doesn't deliver the package, it goes back after 2 days without the UPS hold at the access point of 7/day
THEY DON'T ANSWER FOR IT
THEY ARE SHAMEFUL LOOPHOLES and there's no way to contact anyone to file a complaint with them

·2 years agoAgcom will throw your form in the bin. The Communications Regulatory Authority doesn’t care about the relationship between you and Packlink. The complaint should be sent to AGCM (Autorità Garante della Concorrenza e del Mercato).
You should tell the recipient to also carry out the signature recognition procedure (you should be able to find details on Google).
bye
