Account and invoice issue
Hello, I have a problem with entering the IBAN of the current account, which as far as I can see is required to receive payment for sales. Since today I've been trying to enter the one in my name, as listed in the first and last name on my eBay account, and both my Bancoposta and Buddybank accounts give me an error. Then they asked me to provide an ID document, and that's fine, I sent it, but they also ask me for a purchase invoice for an item I sold today, but since this coin I sold was bought by my grandparents years and years ago, it is now unreadable and damaged by time.... do you know if this coin can be sold even without the invoice for it, because otherwise I don't understand how they can sell old items here.... and as for the account, how can I do it? it's the first time I'm trying to sell on eBay... thanks

·3 years agoIf the coin is rare and over a hundred years old, the purchase invoice or equivalent documentation of lawful possession would be a legal requirement in order to sell it.

·3 years agoRegarding the purchase invoice issue, it seems strange to me that it was requested for the first item put up for sale, which I assume was sold as used.
At what price was this coin sold?
In this case too, I recommend contacting eBay via chat or by phone to ask for clarification regarding this problem you described on the forum.

OP3 years agoThe total price including shipping is 212 euros, but I think I made the mistake of selecting new instead of used when placing the order and that’s why maybe he’s asking me for the invoice... unfortunately eBay won’t let me check whether I made this mistake because they removed my listing for the sale of this coin due to this temporary restriction....tomorrow I’ll try to contact eBay via chat or phone to clarify the situation, thanks a lot...

·3 years agoin fact I figured there was some kind of problem like this because usually if you sell used items eBay doesn't ask you to show the purchase invoice.
Tomorrow try contacting eBay support and see if you can get it sorted out.
I advise you not to ship the item until you've sorted out this situation with the purchase invoice and you've sorted out the issue with the bank account.
Because then you'll end up with the money in the eBay account that you can't transfer to your bank account.
