Pickup point
The pickup point won’t give me my package, they say that through eBay nothing has arrived. I wrote to the seller and they say it was shipped through Amazon’s channel. The pickup point says I need the Amazon code to pick it up, but I bought it on eBay and I don’t have it!!
Terrible experience, tomorrow I’ll try again to pick it up with the shipping code, then I’ll ask for a refund, otherwise I think I’ll go to the Carabinieri

·3 years agoThe ECP pickup code: xxxxxxxx is generated immediately after payment for the item.
Then if the seller used Amazon logistics for shipping, it doesn't matter, the important thing is that you have the pickup code generated by eBay at the time of payment.

·3 years agoThe problem could arise if the seller bought from Amazon and then had the item shipped directly to the pickup point and was unable to add the eBay Pickup Point code, or eCP code, to the address to ensure the parcel is handled correctly.
The ecp code is not provided to the buyer by ebay at the time of payment, but...... When the item is ready to be picked up (at the fermopoint), we will send you the instructions via email or SMS, depending on the option you selected at the time of payment....... You will receive an email message or an SMS when the item has arrived. The message will include a pickup code, which you will need to bring with you to collect the item

·3 years agoI confirm what I wrote yesterday.
The eCP pickup code is generated by ebay immediately after selecting the pickup point on the map and completing the payment.
To view the code, just follow the instructions as I specified yesterday.
If there are any inconsistencies with what is written on ebay, there is not much I can do about it, I replied based on my experience just last week.

·3 years agoOn the fact that it gets generated right away, we agree.
On the ebay pages it says that it is provided right away to the seller, who puts it on the shipping label, and then when it arrives at the Fermopoint it is also provided to the buyer by email or SMS.
Besides, that communication is what counts for the 14 days of storage.
If things work differently, they should update their guides.

·3 years agoI think that if for any reason the seller ships to the Fermopoint omitting the eCP code, the Fermopoint can still receive its commission when the buyer goes to pick it up and fills out the slip (provided by the Fermopoint) with these details: First name, Last name, Date of birth, ID document number, eCP code and signature.
On the other hand, the first and last name match, and the eCP code is provided by the buyer at the time of pickup, so the Fermopoint can collect its commission.

Then go here:
https://www.ebay.it/mye/myebay/summary
Next to the item you purchased, click VIEW ORDER DETAILS
At the top right you will see the shipping address of the pickup point together with a code.
Item pickup code:ECP:XXXXXXXX
Take this code and go to the pickup point to collect your parcel.

·3 years agoIf the seller used Amazon’s logistics channel or Amazon as the supplier, it’s the seller who has to give you the pickup code.
