does anyone know how the postal service works from France?
hi, by any chance does anyone know how the French post works?
I bought a product and they shipped it to me, the listing said it would arrive between August 14 and 20 while on the tracking app it says 'Your shipment has been placed in the recipient's mailbox' meaning basically that it was put in the mailbox but that wasn't the case.
does anyone know what I should do? whether to wait for it to arrive or something else?

·2 years agoJust to be safe, contact the seller and have them send you a copy of their shipping receipt.
If the code and address match, it means that a courier (Poste Italiane or SDA depending on the size of the package) has certified that a package with that code was delivered to your address.
If that’s the situation, it’s impossible to ask for a refund. You can only take it up with the mail carrier or your neighbors.

OP2 years agoI tried asking the seller, but they still haven’t replied to me, even though they have 99.2% positive feedback and 3,900 items sold.
What I was thinking is that maybe it was handed over to the delivery service here in Italy, also because the listing said it would arrive between August 14 and 20.

·2 years agoFrance or not...... it depends on whether the courier's website shows it as "delivered" or not...... in the event of a possible dispute, that's the first thing to look at....

OP2 years agoyes, according to the la poste website it shows as delivered, moreover it says 5/08 at 00:00, but anyway I haven't received anything.
