Huge delays in releasing the funds
Ebay is losing steam. I sold an item 20 days ago, the buyer received it a week ago, left feedback and notified ebay of receipt, but as of today the payment still hasn’t been released. If these are the timeframes, and if the certainty of getting the money is shaky, maybe it’s no longer worth selling on ebay ...

OP1 month agoI’ll add that if someone delivers by hand, so without tracking, eBay doesn’t release the payments. Ridiculous. They can go to hell.

·1 month ago · EditedThe 20/21 days are by the rules for new/infrequent sellers, it’s worth reading it before putting items up for sale or relisting them.
It’s also worth reading because with in-person handoff, if it’s included in the listing, the buyer receives a QR code to scan to confirm delivery and release the money.
On top of eBay’s problems, there are also those of users who don’t know how to use it.
