Red screen in French
Unable to pay for the item
Hi,
I selected the item to buy (I’ve made purchases in the past without any problems) and after confirming the payment, I received the following message in French, which I’m translating into Italian:
We are sorry to inform you that access to certain perfume and cosmetics brands may be restricted due to legal restrictions.
We are therefore forced to block your bid. It is possible that the restrictions affecting you go beyond the legal framework and are due to technical constraints. We regret this and are sorry. We invite you to search our site again to place bids on other desired items. We apologize for this inconvenience and thank you for your understanding.

I tried all the options: PayPal balance, direct card payment, card payment through PayPal, but I always get the same message. I also opened a new PayPal account with another card and balance, but I still get the same message. It mentions a bid, but I didn’t place a bid, I used the "Buy it now" option...
Any ideas on how to get around all this?
I don’t have any unpaid items or won bids...

Basically, from Italy you can't buy that product from that seller in France.
