It depends on the specific product (the customs code is needed to calculate it exactly).
Approximate estimate:
- VAT: 22% on the total value (1200€ + shipping, assuming 50€ shipping for example) = 22% of 1250€ ≈ 275€.
- Duties: 0% if the product is covered by the free trade agreement and origin is proven (common for Swiss industrial goods). Otherwise, they range from 0% to about 14% (e.g. 4% for collectible items). Assuming 4%: ≈ 48€ on 1200€.
- Additional fees: 10-30€ for customs clearance by the courier, plus any transport costs included in the VAT calculation.
