I want to share with the community the negative experience I had with packlink: The issue is the integration system between eBay and Packlink, which does absolutely nothing to protect occasional sellers, leading them into costly bureaucratic mistakes.I shipped a collectible card worth €499 to Taiwan. Even though I filled out all the customs forms required by the platform, the package was held in customs for lack of the EORI code. Packlink did not provide any advance warning about the requirement for this code for that specific route and the value of the goods, nor did it block the creation of the label in the absence of a crucial piece of information for customs clearance in Taiwan.Faced with the impossibility of getting the situation unblocked (being a private individual and not a company), I preferred to request the return of the package to avoid it being lost or destroyed. Also because I had not insured the package, so I did not want to run the risk of losing a €500 item, not knowing what I was going to face. Result: €35 for the outbound shipment lost and another €35 charged for the return, for a total of €70 wasted because of a lack of information on the portal.The complaint I then submitted to Packlink was closed immediately with a quick, blunt response, placing all responsibility on the user and ignoring the duty of support and transparency of a professional intermediary. If the system does not flag known blocking requirements, the service is clearly lacking.Strongly not recommended for shipments outside the EU if you are not customs experts, since eBay's "partner" will not help you in the event of foreseeable problems.
