Money for a return via PayPal, not accepted by the buyer because he wants more.
Hello, after selling a used item, untested and for parts, clearly marked as no returns.
I accepted the return because the buyer claims it is damaged or not the same!!...
I don’t have the option to send a label because I don’t have a printer, so I agreed with the buyer to send money via PayPal..
When I asked how much money it costs to return the item... he gives me his PayPal and asks for 15€ . I say that’s too much and that I would send 11€ tax included, which is enough to ship WITH POSTE , and noticing that the buyer is a seller who sells and ships his own similar items to mine for 8,50/9€ ....
I point this out to him, and send 11€ asking him to ship with my Poste shipping, which for me is cheaper and always trackable..
He says that it’s not right, he wants 15 and he’ll refund me. This x 2 times . I insist and send the money again, 11€, and he promptly rejects it and refunds it, saying he’ll wait for eBay and the dispute resolution if he doesn’t get the 15€...
Now I’m asking, why should I give in and pay more for the return, to avoid eBay closing the dispute without a return and refunding the buyer??
Why does he ship his items for 9€ and for the return to me he asks for 15???? ...it seems to me that he’s trying to get either the item plus the refund or make something off the return shipping, on top of the refund from eBay ..
What can I do ? .. the other party’s deadline is Tuesday. The messages were sent through eBay messaging.
Can I stay calm and wait for eBay’s decision, or give in to the blackmail and send 15€ ? .. it’s not the extra 4€, but I don’t even like being taken for a fool even though I accepted the return of an item sold as parts and used . Who can help me?

·2 years agoin addition to the suggestions from the other users, the advice is to read the rules in different parts...... I’ll add that, in my opinion, your listings need some corrections;
just a few examples:
there's no point putting “no returns” because it's sold as faulty, since the buyer can still dispute the item's non-conformity;
you list the items as "used", while then stating in the listing that they are faulty and/or to be tested, it's better to put them in the correct "condition" straight away;
shipping costs ( yours ) in the listing ....... no comment, 20 - 25 eur ...... you can always sell the item at a higher starting price and at the same time lower the shipping.....

·2 years agoanyway if you run into any difficulties, it would be best to contact eBay support by phone.
Go here:
https://www.ebay.it/help/buying/returns-refunds/restituisci-un-oggetto-cambio-di-un-rimborso?id=4041
and then scroll down to the bottom of the web page, it says "ask us to call you" click on it

OP2 years agoThanks, I tried but it tells me there are no items that require the label. I was asked at the beginning when I accepted the return, but I SAID that I couldn’t send it, I didn’t know about this link, so then the buyer asked me and said that I had to pay for the shipping myself. And I said I would send the money with PayPal and all the rest of the story ... Now, my question is, do I wait for eBay’s decision? (During chat and on the phone with eBay support) I was told that eBay will look at all the messages in the dispute, (is that true?) So can I wait or give in to the blackmail of the 15€? So as not to lose the item.. ?

·2 years agoYou need to create a NEW SHIPMENT and enter your shipping address as the recipient and the buyer's details as the sender.
You need to enter the package's weight and dimensions, like the one you sent.
Then you pay and a shipping label is generated for you.
Then you save the shipping label on your PC or phone (which is in PDF format) and attach it to the eBay dispute in the appropriate space.

·2 years agothe buyer has to open a dispute for item not as described
https://www.ebay.it/help/buying/returns-refunds/restituisci-un-oggetto-cambio-di-un-rimborso?id=4041
Here you can check the status of a return.
I hope you did everything according to eBay's rules.
You can also send the BRT label to the buyer via eBay messages; there's a dedicated box where you can attach images.
In this case, you need to convert the PDF containing the small BRT label into an image format so you can attach it in an eBay message addressed to the buyer.
Best regards.

·2 years agoIf you don't want to risk losing the item and the money, provide a prepaid return label and attach it in the dispute.
Go here: https://spedizioni.ebay.it
There are excellent shipping rates with prepaid labels starting from 5 euros.
Kind regards.

·2 years agoSend them a prepaid return label, so you can sort it out without giving in.
I don't think you need a printer, you're obviously not sending them a physical label.
