Good morning,
if I delete my IBAN or revoke the mandate to eBay, can I keep selling or does the process block me in some way? my goal is to have the funds "blocked" and then unblocked at some point, right now eBay gives me what it has to give me once a month, but I haven't found longer options, for example 6 months or once a year.

·1 year agoSo... make sure the removed account and the one in use have no connection at all... otherwise all related accounts will be removed.

OP1 year agotried to load an account by publishing listings without entering an IBAN code, it lasted a couple of days 🙂 at "security" they don't like it.

OP1 year agousually I ask questions just to understand how things work, but in this specific case if they give me 100 euros a month in my current account I don't even notice, whereas 1200 is already a nice bonus pota 🙂

OP1 year agojust to clarify: I’m removing the IBAN in the sense that I’m closing the account, so it gets removed, even if I can end the mandate online like I did for the utilities without any problem and before adding a new IBAN.

·1 year agoThe closing line from ortiurbanitorino ( 'I know, I'm weird' ) made me think of certain questions I used to ask in the family when I was a kid in short pants and the three little ducks visor cap. Let it be clear that to me they seemed absolutely normal, but.. not to the other members of the family. Who, looking down at me from above, would ironically tell me to ask for details from the U.C.A.S. in Milan. This imaginary office (Office for Complicating Simple Matters) had the characteristic of making every apparently simple everyday route incredibly complicated. Those were different times, when life flowed in a more linear way. But today, when everything is frightening and terrifyingly complicated, why on earth should one opt for an uphill route ? Obviously ortiurbani will have his reasons, which he is not obliged to share, but when I think that just to close the account of a useless alternative platform I spent almost half an hour in front of the screen bypassing European users' obligations, consulting the procedures, choosing the reason for closing in six languages as per the update of the specifications issued in Att. norm. di cons. parag. see attachments available on request by connecting to point 9, etc. etc. and I had to pay the prescribed fee for the constant non-use of the site as per the clause compliant with the regulations signed by the users etc. etc.. my curiosity came naturally. Now I'll leave you because I still have to read the prescribed EU guidelines for the proper use of regenerated plastic table glasses. Best regards.

·1 year agoYou can't "suppress" an IBAN without first entering another one.
And some banks (ignoring an ABI recommendation from a couple of years ago) don't let you cancel it through them, but make you contact the beneficiary (that is, eBay).

·1 year agoAt the moment they can only be withdrawn monthly at most, try checking with customer support and see if it’s possible to suspend them.
It’s not possible to delete an IBAN, unless you enter another valid one.
