SHIPPING via Ebay: Help

I've been selling a bit on eBay for years, I'm a private seller, retired.

I've always shipped small items with posta 1 and larger items with postal parcel,

now I don't sell anything anymore because the shipping rates and the cost I apply are too high compared to the other sellers.

To ship a 1 kg item I spend 10.30, while I see that many ask more or less 5 euros.

The same for small items, before I used posta 1, now I use ordinary mail (but I've already had to refund 2 users because they say they didn't receive it)

and I've started using registered mail, which doesn't cost less than 6/7 euros.

I've tried to browse eBay, but I can't figure out how to do it!! (maybe because of my age) THE LINKS I FOUND DON'T EXPLAIN HOW IT WORKS.

I can only ship through the post office by going directly TO THE POST OFFICE, because home pickup is incompatible with my needs.

If someone can help me, I thank you in advance.
