Wrong item shipped
Good morning, I mistakenly sent the wrong item, I tried to ask at the post office if it was possible to stop it before it left but I was refused.
Tomorrow I will arrange to send the correct item at my own expense.
Now, since the first one will arrive at a Fermopoint, can it be left there so that it gets sent back to me without making any refund?

OP1 year agoWe resolved it differently, since the article is similar he will withdraw the one sent.
I’ll see about issuing a partial refund once delivery has been completed.

·1 year agoMaybe you didn’t quite catch Sika’s subtle irony...
Flowchart:
1- wrong item shipped
2- the package arrives at FP and the customer picks it up
3- the customer realizes the item is incorrect, contacts you (or opens a dispute...)
4- you send a return label, wait for the package to arrive, and then send the correct item again
Because if between points 1 and 2 or 2 and 3 you send another package, the customer will pick that one up too and end up with two items: they’ll “thank” you and vanish happily.... it depends on how “good” they are at using eBay (and therefore at playing the game in their favor...).

OP1 year agoYeah, because at this point not a single one can be saved...
Even though I feared it would end terribly, a few days ago I sent 70 euros' worth of goods to Holland to a 0 feedback account with a profile photo that looked fake, and the sale was completed without any problems.

OP1 year agoNo, I won't make him wait, what happens if he doesn't pick up the first package? Does it come back to me and do I receive a full refund or does everything stay the same?

·1 year agoMaybe it's best to wait until the package comes back to you... if the buyer picks it up, you'll explain what happened, provide a return label at your own expense, and then send him the correct one.
If you also send the correct one... you can give your customer a nice gift.
Kind regards.
