Shipping: do I have to use eBay Shipping or can I arrange it myself?
Good morning, it's my first time selling on eBay and I need to ship an item.
I have the option to print the label with eBay Shipping, but can I also ignore it and manage the shipment with my own courier, then mark it as shipped and upload the tracking code?
Thanks.

·1 year agoGood morning,
I’m new to selling too and I have some doubts about what to select for the courier.
In the economy services, could you explain to me: Poste delivery standard, Other courier 3-5 days, delivery with installation.
And how do I find out what the shipping costs are if I don’t know where it has to go?

At this eBay link you can find all the shipping costs based on the weight brackets:
https://www.ebay.it/spaziovenditori/spedizione/ebay-spedizioni/tariffe-spedizioni
Usually, except in cases of hard-to-reach areas, the shipping costs are those ones (including for the islands).
So before selling the item, based on the table, estimate the shipping costs according to the item’s weight / volumetric weight and then check the matching rate in the table.

Yes, certainly, you can decide to ship directly at the post office or use another shipping service of your choice.
Ebay Shipping is a useful service integrated into the platform but it is not mandatory.
Once shipped, remember to mark it as "item shipped" and enter the tracking code.
