Hello,I should say right away that I’m completely inexperienced with these things.I’d like to buy a collector’s item, fairly expensive for my budget, which is currently at the seller’s home, still in Italy but far from where I live.The item is fairly large: about 1m x 1m x 1m.The seller only offers either local pickup, which I have to rule out because I’m too far away, or shipping "arranged by the buyer at their own expense through a door-to-door courier."I have literally never shipped anything, nor arranged any shipment.How would you recommend I proceed?Could you tell me, step by step, what procedure to follow?Also, since the item has a certain value, I imagine a specific insurance would be needed?Thanks.
