Shipping a package with a vintage envelope

Hello everyone, I just wanted to ask whether Poste Italiane accepts shipping via Poste Delivery Standard if the box is contained in a wide vintage-style envelope, that is, a foldable-type envelope without the 3 clearly defined dimensions of parcels and that has, as obvious sides, only one long side and one shorter one. The thickness can only be described in terms of a few millimeters.

I noticed that the Poste Italiane design also considers the thickness that an envelope doesn't have. Otherwise, the sum of the sides doesn't even exceed one meter. So maybe it's fine? The thing is, I'm undecided whether to order the vintage envelopes because if they don't work, I've wasted the money.

if the envelope is 0.1 cm, it is considered as 1 cm (rounded up)

So you need to calculate, for example, 60 cm x 40 cm x 1 cm

Anyway, consider rolling up the envelope and sending it like that, as is done with posters, so they don’t get damaged / ruined.

Poste Delivery Standard предусматривает one longer side up to 1 meter and the sum of the other sides up to 2 meters

Maximum weight 20 kg
