Lost shipment
DO NOT SHIP VIA EBAY, terrible service... my shipment has been in transit for two weeks, nobody knows where it ended up...... eBay washes its hands of it by passing you off to packlink, but it shows as shipped with the post office, which knows nothing about it...... so the package is lost!!!!!! But I paid eBay and it's not right that they wash their hands of it!!!!!!!!

·1 year agoThe same thing is happening to me, Poste Italiane communicated to eBay 3 weeks ago that the package was lost, eBay hasn't told me anything. They redirected me to Packlink, where it's impossible to file a claim to get a refund.

·1 year agoPoste didn't communicate anything to eBay: it's simply what's shown by the tracking and what gets displayed to you (same thing if you enter the tracking number on the Poste website....).
If you're the sender (only the sender can file a complaint with the carrier), go into packLink and in the list of your orders select the shipment and submit the claim (if it's lost, you'll find it in red among those that have "problems").

·1 year ago3 weeks might even be too late to open a ticket with Packlink.
Unfortunately, distance selling is a complex matter and when something goes wrong, if you don’t know certain procedures well and don’t follow the right steps, you won’t be protected.

·2 years agoYou didn’t ship with eBay... but you bought the shipping through Packlink... eBay doesn’t ship anything.
So it’s right that they send you back to Packlink because they are the shipping broker, eBay only recommends a low-cost shipping service, but doesn’t force you to use it!

·2 years agoeBay doesn't ship anything itself, nor does it sell anything.
eBay's shipping service is entrusted to and managed by Packlink, so it is to the latter that the seller will have to turn for any complaints and refunds, according to the contractual terms.
Even if the payment is made through the eBay platform, that does not mean that eBay is the one shipping.
