USPS Ground shipment not tracked

Good morning

I made a purchase through the eBay International Shipping program from the USA. The seller shipped the item via USPS Ground, but there is no tracking code associated with it. How is the shipment progressing now? From the moment it is handed over to the carrier responsible for delivery in Europe, will it be possible to have tracking? And if so, what are the estimated delivery times for a shipment with this method?

So let's clear things up a bit......

If you used the shipping handled by eBay, that is, the international shipping program, I tell you to stay calm and not worry too much because eBay will handle the shipment through one of its trusted partners.

eBay's international shipping program allows a seller to avoid the bureaucracy of an international shipment.

Basically, the seller where you bought the item ships it to an eBay collection center (also in the USA), then from there the shipment will be handled by eBay.

Expect to receive a tracking code in the next few days.

Using international shipping involves two separate shipments. The first in Illinois at an ebay collection center and from there a second shipment to the final recipient. The second shipment will be tracked (usually DHL) with an EEUS code ......

Minimum time, given customs, a couple of weeks.

An untracked shipment is hardly going to become tracked at some point.

Unless it was an item worth just a few dollars, the seller took quite a risk.

I can’t help you with the timing; with tracked and fairly fast shipments, it’s around two weeks. If the transport happens by ship instead, good luck...
