Shipping to Japan not possible via eBay

Hello everyone,

a buyer bought one of my items from Japan, and I sadly find out that it's not possible to ship it via eBay shipping. Is it a country that is no longer supported on the platform?

Ebay shipping doesn’t cover all countries.

If you can’t find either international Crono or UPS or DHL, it means that Japan is currently not covered by packlink-ebay, so you need to rely on another shipping provider.

Thanks, I just logged in now from my PC for another sale, and I had the shipment to Japan available in draft with Poste Italiane, but how is it possible that now it's there and this morning it wasn't possible? I also canceled the transaction and refunded the buyer.

Yes, the situation you described can happen, it has happened to me several times over the years with packlink-ebay.

It happened MOSTLY when I tried to generate the label outside working hours (like around midnight).

I think it is a connection problem with the Poste Italiane servers, which then generate the label on behalf of packlink and/or vice versa a packlink problem that does not connect with the Poste Italiane servers.

In these cases you can try generating the label again during "office" hours.
