VHS shipment
Good evening, I’d like to know whether VHS tapes can be shipped with piego di libri.
Since I’ve already received some VHS tapes where the package said piego di libri, but on the post office website it says that only books, magazines, etc. can be shipped this way
If there’s anyone who has already shipped VHS tapes this way, could you explain it to me?

If you’re honest, it doesn’t mean the person receiving the items is too.
As marioelegio already mentioned, if you ship with book post you do save on shipping costs, but the shipment isn’t tracked anywhere.
So if you run into a less-than-honest buyer, they could claim they never received the item.
There is a book post + registered mail option, but the cost starts to go up and at that point it’s worth considering a courier, and you’d get delivery faster.
If you go to spedizioni.ebay.it you can find great shipping rates and you have the option to run some simulations.

We need to see whether the seller is willing to give up tracked shipping ..........
If the seller asks for a very high amount for shipping by courier, try giving them the shipping link I provided you.
There are courier rates starting from 5 euros or even less than 5 euros if the item is picked up at the post office.

·2 years agoIn theory, the VHS could be sent if bundled with a magazine (as an integral part of it).
Anyway, the main problem is the lack of tracking, which makes the service suitable only for items of almost no value.
