Shipping with Poste, what a dilemma........
Hi,
the shipping system integrated with only the option of home-to-home delivery (they don’t accept the package at the post office because they don’t read the codes) doesn’t work at all; out of 8 shipments, the Poste courier came only once. It’s practically impossible to get info either from eBay (support says to contact Poste) or from Poste, which don’t have efficient support.
I’ve decided not to use this system anymore because it’s totally unreliable (I’d say it’s obvious that something isn’t right between eBay and Poste Italiane)
I suggest, for those who can, always taking the package to the post office; otherwise, yes, they cost a bit more but DHL and UPS rarely get it wrong. Also, with Poste several packages have been lost/stolen and there’s no way to get info or adequate refunds.
For those shipping only within Italy, I recommend GLS, super efficient and economical
I understand not everyone can do it, but if you can avoid Poste Italiane like the plague..............
