GLS Shipping
I join the many complaints from users who speak badly of GLS.
The criminal behavior of this courier should be reported.
Since in Italy nothing works when it comes to legality, I will take steps
personally to act as much as I can.
From now on I will avoid all those sellers who use GLS and who on e-bay, unfortunately, are the majority.
It is my right to defend myself by lawful means.
Kind regards

·3 years agoYour message is rather senseless because you don’t explain anything about what happened.
As for me, I recently had a great experience with GLS for a shipment that had nothing to do with eBay sales. A large parcel sent from Sassuolo at 4 p.m. and arrived in Legnano at 1 p.m. the next day.

·3 years agoI can only agree with you, but all couriers mess things up; it depends on who handles the situation locally. Many years ago I had just 1 problem with GLS for 1 eBay purchase, they marked fake deliveries; instead Bartolini made 1 mess at the beginning of 2020, but I sorted it out right away because it was a purchase on Amazon.
But I haven't ruled out GLS because every now and then they do answer and the office is closer than Bartolini's, which is in another municipality in an area that's not exactly easy to reach, and they never answer the phone.
I think you should do more tests and try to understand which courier works best in your area, since you can't make a nationwide or regional argument; it depends on the people who work there and manage things locally.

·3 years agoThere are complaints about pretty much all couriers if you look closely.
What did GLS do that was so serious? Can we know?

This is one of those situations where ebay can't protect you because the tracking shows the package was delivered.
The problem is that now deliveries are all made without a signature and in fact since they removed that, cases like yours have increased exponentially.
The alternative to solve these situations would be the secret code to type in when picking up the package, but users are so utterly LOST / DENSE that this would end up slowing down, if not blocking, the whole mechanism.
Just imagine users who make impulsive purchases while messing around on the various marketplaces having to keep track of several unlock codes 🤣😂
I can already imagine a courier who, to make one delivery, would take 1 hour waiting for the user who is looking for the LOST code 😎
They removed the signature anyway because anyone could scribble something and then file a complaint for denial of the signature, so taking advantage of the COVID-19 opportunity it was decided to eliminate this signature pickup procedure.
Filing a complaint for not having received a package by claiming a false signature has more weight than filing a complaint simply stating that you did not receive a package.
Basically everything VIRTUAL.
Sorry about what happened, next time have the goods sent to an official Poste Italiane fermopoint so you can be sure the courier actually delivers the package.
Kind regards.
